I > Polyolefin (Polyethylene - Polypropylene)
The polyethylene (PE) and the polypropylenes (PP) are foams, usually with a close inert cell that do not produce bacteria and fungus, with a good air and water stagnancy and a good thermal, acoustic and of impact insulation.
However, there are some exceptions of polyethylene with an open cell. They are applied in fixed joints of stagnancy and dilatation and in applications insulation temperature and humidity. The working average pause is of [-30,100]ºC - reaching 125ºC in the case of the polypropylene. The last one, having the same density value, presents in advance more hardness and more dimensional stability than the polyethylene.

II > Elastomers - Rubbers (Epdm, Cr, Nbr + Pvc)
Technical micro cellular rubber foams are normally closed-cell ones, although very soft semi-closed cell rubbers have also been developed, wich adapt better to the unevenness of the surface where they are applied. Their mechanical characteristics and resistance when exposed to wind and weather, to lubrificants, to chemical agents or to fire, vary according to their chemical composition or to the added additives.
These elastomers are used in tightness applications and as dynamic joints, especially owing to their recuperation after having undergone compression for some time.

III > Polyurethanes (Polyether and Polyester Base)
The polyurethane (PUR) are materials with an open cell that have good properties of acoustic absortion. They are divided into two big families, i.e., esters and ethers. The oil and water are well-known characteristics of esters and ethers, respectively. The addition of specific kind of chemicals charges is also used to give specific characteristics to the material like, for instance, increasing the resistance to fire and humidity or getting filtration foams with porosities between 10 and 80ppi by means of reticulation processes. The main characteristic of the polyurethanes is to absorb noises and vibrations and not to obstruct the passage of air when compressed. They can also work as noise filters as a protective material for packing.

IV > Other Materials (Heavy Mass, PUR-Ester film, Aluminium)
We are on continuous research of new components that can improve our materials quality performance, being aware of constant changes in the requirements from automotive industrial manufactorers to their suppliers.
According to specifications or needs, we can incorporate in our technical foam complexes, acting as an electricity insulator; aluminium as radiation reflector; PUR-ester films to provide greater resistance to our products; heavy masses of EPDM or bituminous masses to combine their absortion and soundproof properties, as well as endless list of necessary products to improve their performance qualities.

V > Derivated Textiles (Padding, Carpets, Felt, Nonwoven)
Due to the type of transformation that carry out, we produce a series of products wich are not technical foams but are open to require our cutting and adhesive processes.
Amongst them we find derivated textiles, polyester (PUR-ester) padding, or polypropylene (PP) (with stuffing functions), wool pressed felt (noise absorbents) or the nonwoven and carpets (as anti-vibrating and beautifying coating).

VI > Adhesives
The family of adhesives that we apply on our foams normally bears paper or plastic protectors so that our customers can peel it off easily to apply the product where necessary.
The type of adhesive and its properties are selected according to its function, application and materials that will be in contact (initial sticking power, water-resistance, UV and fireproof properties, etc.).

VII > PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
They are very flexible materials with great resistance to chemical agents. In accordance to their density and the foamy agent, PVC foams acquire a cellular structure that can bear open, semi-open or closed cells. Therefore, to carry out its functionality, a different % of compression will be required for each type of PVC.
Their main applications are all those where air tightness, dust or water tightness are required. It is specially used in joints of air and water stagnancy and on very irregular surfaces.
