About the history of the company 


11 Years in the service of European Automotive Industry.

Stokvis Celix Portugal, Limited (STKPRT) began operations in 1998, located in Braga , under the trade name Braxicel - Transformadora de Espumas Técnicas, Lda. Since early beginning, automotive sector customers hold an important role in the company sustained growth.

In 2005, has embraced the automotive component exclusive production as strategy. In order to do so, has adopted the trade name CELIX - Transformadora de Espumas Técnicas, Lda and have joined to one congener Company in Barcelona that adopted the same name.

In 2006 was acquired by Dutch group STOKVIS TAPES, BV (STG), which has bought new business concepts and strategies. Within the STG, it is the leader in the foam processing, and has helped to develop its Polish congener in 2007.

It is certified since 2002, first with ISO 9001:2000 and currently with the standard ISOTS 16949, maintaining the high standards required by the sector where establishes its business.

It employs today, 65 employees with a high level of training and motivation. Within in its organisational structure stand out quality, capacity development, R&D, approval and certification of products departments.

It exports 78% of its production. Main markets are Spain , France and United Kingdom being its European OEM's and Tier's with relevant activity in the sector.

STKPRT products are used in various car components. The vast range raw materials solutions, together with its product mix and associated to its service level upstream and downstream of the process helped it to establish itself as a reference company within the "business".

STKPRT is, after 2008, part of ITW Group.
